Trauma Resolution Therapy
A supportive presence on the way from trauma to post-traumatic growth.
Trauma distorts our experience and weakens our bodies.
Too often we become trapped in our pain.
When we believe our subjective constructs are reality,
It is difficult to step out of our own way.
Trauma resolution therapy helps you recognize how your perception is influenced by your sensations, feelings, and beliefs.
When we become aware of subconscious patterns of body and mind, we come out of trauma's grip.
We reconnect to healthy, instinctual responses that were once disrupted by shock.
We pave the way to a state of vitality and well-being free from pain and distorted views.
Those difficulties become gifts, for the benefit of self, others, and the world.
The General Path and Its Variations
Baptiste’s therapeutic modality is both body-oriented and trauma-focused. It is based on the clinical tools of Somatic Experiencing (SE), Internal Family Systems (IFS) psychotherapy, and the practice of Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness (TSM).
Within this framework, you can come to normalize your struggles and understand trauma’s impact on your experiences. This illuminates the path from traumatic shock to healthy post-traumatic growth and somato-psycho-social blossoming.
The path of healing often progresses through three stages :
Greeting Trauma involves the search for professional support. At this stage, the trauma history often expresses itself in the form of diverse struggles and symptoms.
Greeting Oneself involves leveraging resources and tools to find stability, empowerment, and self-reliance in the face of adversity.
Greeting Others involves moving beyond trauma's negative impact towards rebuilding one's life based on a renewed sense of integrity, inclusion, self-knowledge, and healthy boundaries.
Consultations and the duration of care vary based on the individual needs of each person. "Slow is fast" is one of the anthems of this work, and the best progress is made when you the client can honor their own rhythm.
